She went septic and experienced numerous organ failures, which included the kidneys that did not recover. The new standard was hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. For the eighteen days she spent in hospital, her life changed completely. Angelica's entire life was altered after her dialysis for kidneys. She would receive the donated kidney from her mom. Angelica Hale, along with her mother underwent an organ transplantation procedure at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13, 2013. Angelica Hale's dream to be a superstar has never wavered.
