Bossard started her commercial seafood career in 1999 when she was hired on board the vessel F/V Sunset. This 65' schooner, which was transformed into the role of a salmon tender is owned by Murat Aritan. The fisherman has been in commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard has been married Aritan. They have now come together and have claimed their respective industries. They are both in favor of conservative and profitable managing of the renewable resources for seafood. Otolith opened its direct market wholesale distributorship in Philadelphia when Bossard returned from living back in her home town with two daughters, Bella 3 years old and Andre 1year old, to Philadelphia.
